Getting Here
SEATTLE-TACOMA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is located halfway between Seattle and
Tacoma. It is about an hour from the Kitsap Peninsula by private carrier or
car. A shuttle service makes regular runs to and from the airport to the
area. Click

WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES
The
Washington State Ferries offer connecting service from downtown Seattle,
West Seattle, Edmonds and Vashon Island to the Kitsap Peninsula.

FROM
SEA-TAC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Take Interstate 5 south toward Tacoma.
-
Take the Highway 16/Bremerton exit off I-5.
-
Continue on Highway 16 across the Narrows Bridge. You will come to the
communities of Gig Harbor, Port Orchard and Gorst in that order.

After looping through Gorst, you will meet the interchange where Highway
16 becomes Highway 3. The communities of Bremerton, Seabeck, Silverdale,
Keyport, Port Gamble, Hansville and Kingston are accessible from Highway
3. Past Port Gamble, Highway 3 becomes Highway 104 on the way to Hansville
and Kingston.
- To
get to Bainbridge Island, Suquamish and Poulsbo, take the Highway 305 exit
off Highway 3.
FROM
SEATTLE/INTERSTATE 90

Follow the signs to downtown Seattle. Take the Seneca exit and head toward
the waterfront.

Board the Bremerton or Bainbridge Island ferries at the Colman Dock.
- If
you take the Bremerton ferry, follow the signs to Highway 16 or Highway 3
out of town. Going south on Highway 16, you can access Gorst, Port Orchard
or Gig Harbor. Going north on Highway 3, you can access Seabeck,
Silverdale, Keyport, Port Gamble, Hansville and Kingston in that order.
- To
get to Bainbridge Island, Suquamish and Poulsbo, head north on Highway 3
and take the Highway 305 exit which is just past Silverdale.
- If
you take the Bainbridge Island ferry, follow Highway 304 out of town. You
will pass Suquamish and Poulsbo on the way to Highway 3. From Highway 3,
head north to Hood Canal, Port Gamble, Hansville and Kingston (past Port
Gamble, Highway 3 becomes Highway 104 on the way to Hansville and
Kingston), or south to Keyport, Silverdale, Seabeck, Bremerton, Gorst,
Port Orchard and Gig Harbor in that order.
FROM
CANADA/NORTHERN WASHINGTON

Take Interstate 5 south toward Seattle.

Take the Edmonds exit off I-5.
-
Continue west to downtown Edmonds. Follow the signs directing you to the
ferry. Board the Kingston ferry at Edmonds.

After leaving the ferry at Kingston, continue on to Highway 104 and head
west. You will pass the turnoff to Hansville and the communities of Port
Gamble, Keyport, Silverdale, Seabeck and Bremerton in that order. At Port
Gamble, Highway 104 becomes Highway 3.
- In
Gorst, Highway 3 becomes Highway 16 and you can access Port Orchard and
Gig Harbor from there. Further on lies the Narrows Bridge and passage to
Tacoma. You can rejoin Interstate 5 in Tacoma.
- To
get to Bainbridge Island, Suquamish and Poulsbo, take the Highway 305 exit
off Highway 3.
FROM
SOUTHERN WASHINGTON/OREGON

Take Interstate 5 north toward Tacoma.

Take the Highway 16/Bremerton exit off I-5.

Continue on Highway 16 across the Narrows Bridge. You will come to the
